SWIMMING LESSONS

Connor and Cambree both LOVED swimming lessons. This was Connor's first year swimming alone and he did awesome!

Learning to be comfortable in life jackets.

He was so excited when he finally put his head all the way under water and even held his breath. Once he learned it he would do it over and over.

He learned to float on his back....by the end he could do it all by himself.

He loves his goggles.

The pool was always a little cold, so the kids were always shaking. That didn't seem to bother them except for the last day. Cambree wasn't wanting to do anything because she was too cold. Unfortunately that was the only day we were allowed to be down around the pool to take pictures.

Blowing bubbles.

She can hang onto the side of the pool and scoot along the edge to get the toys, all by herself.

She also learned how to climb up and down the ladder without getting her head in the water.

Showing me her toy Nemo that she would throw and swim after.

She REALLY didn't want to put her head under the water. She was too cold.

She really did LOVE swimming, the last day was just a fluke and she was really cold.

They both passed their classes with flying colors! Cambree's teacher kept telling Spencer she should not be in the Parent/Child class again even though she's only 2. She apparently did really well. YAY!!!

WEEK ???

I've obviously slacked on updates of the house and now I'm not really sure what week we are at with these photos, But here they are.

One of my favorite things, the mud room bench. Spencer's friend Dan did all the finish work and I absolutely LOVE it!!

Cambree demonstrating how to wash your hair in the master shower.

AHHHHHHH.......the master closet. SOOOO much storage!! How can you not love storage?

Too bad we had to move the nest because Mommy bird never came back. :(

PRESCHOOL GRADUATION

Connor has learned so much in Preschool and made lots of new friends. He played a song on the piano and I had no idea he had learned how to do that. I'm so glad he's loved going to school and learning. Hopefully he'll continue to love learning. I'm not sure what's up with his weird smile.

His favorite teacher Ms. Evans.

PRESCHOOL FIELD TRIP

Connor had a field trip about a month ago for preschool to the Classic Fun Center in Layton. Thankfully I could take Cambree for only $3. They had a blast!

Cambree really didn't like the bouncy houses at first, but she ended up loving them. This is as far as she would climb and then slide back down. Connor had no trouble climbing over her.

She used the entrances of the bouncy houses as a slide. She'd climb in the door and then slide back down.

Their favorite thing was the Pirate Cove's air guns. Cambree didn't point it at anything, she just liked watching the ball fly across the room.

First time roller skating. He thought it was fun until another kid accidentally knocked him over.

Cambree couldn't go anywhere. Every time she stood up she fell. Her total skating time lasted about 1 minute.

Connor absolutely LOVED the field trip!

WEEK 6 - APRIL 25 - MAY 2

We have brick! I'm really impressed at how fast things are going. I never thought that at week six we would have brick and sheet rock.

WEEK 5 - APRIL 18-25

DAY 2

Roof is finished!

The whole house is insulated.

Cambree's favorite spot. The window seat in her room.

Still not the safest place for the kids to play. Can you imagine if one of them decided to climb in there?

Cambree HATES all the bugs that gather at the windows. She keeps blowing at them to try and get them out.

DAY 4

Sheet rocking has begun. All of the ceilings are done and the entire garage.

He thinks he's such a stud.

Cambree trying to take all the sheet rock nails.

They can't resist playing and running on everything.

Front porch is poured.
