CONNOR UNSUPERVISEDConnor's latest curiosity happened Sunday morning. He wanted some tic tacs, a usual accurance, so I gave him some and finished what I was doing. A few minutes later he looked at me and said "Tic Tac in nose." I looked at him, hoping I was wrong, and said "You put the tic tac up your nose?" Of course his reply was "Ya." I had him blow his nose numerous times and as soon as it was right where I could get it, he'd sniff it back up. A half hour and a lot of snot later, the half dissolved tic tac finally came out. He then picked it up and still wanted to eat it. GROSS!
He's also obsessed with the games for the Playstation. He's constantly taking them in and out of their cases and wanting to put them in and out of the Playstation. I pick them up and put them away several times a day and within 20 minutes they are all over the living room again. I was so tired of doing it, and not wanting them to get ruined, I moved them up higher so he couldn't reach them. But all he's doing now is getting his chair to stand on so he can reach them. He has also moved on to the DVD's.
When we are at Rob and Renae's we don't gernerally have to supervise the kids too much because there are so many people to help and they entertain each other pretty well. Apparently too well. How much trouble can a 3, 2, and 18 month old get into? Here's your answer..... The 3 kids were playing in the living room on the piano when Mike went to check on them, only to find they'd been playing in Renae's china cabinet with all her precious antique glass. They been playing with some of the bells and smashed one on the piano and then scratched it with the glass. The child gate went up and will be there from now on. Oh but they weren't done yet. A couple hours later Connor and Kaylee had been missing for a while so I went to find them. I called for Connor but he didn't answer. I went upstairs and Brent told me he'd turned the light on in Rob and Renae's room, at their request. I called for them again and still no answer. I went into the room and as I rounded the corner to the bathroom I saw Kaylee getting into the shower. I went over and found Connor in the shower holding mascara with this all over his face.....
I took the mascara and told them they are not suppose to play with Manae's makeup. When I turned around to put the mascara away I saw they'd gotten into ALL the makeup. They'd dug out the blush and eye shadow with their fingers and it was all over the floor.
I told them again they can't play with the makeup and Kaylee just kept saying, "Connor's in trouble," over and over again.
I can only imagine the things they are going to be getting in as they get older and smarter. I think we are going to have our hands full, not that we don't already!!
TUMMY TIMECambree is suppose to do tummy time everyday, which I'm not very good at doing, so Connor thought he would join her.
