TEXAS TRIP

(I haven't posted in a while because we've been busy, but I think I will make up for it with all the pics and videos in this post.)

We just took a trip down to Texas to visit Jenn & fam. Here are some pics and videos from the trip...

Connor took his first plane ride -- He did really good and seemed to actually enjoy it. He thought the turbulence was especially hilarious. (I would have taken some video of that, but I had stowed all my portable electronic devices.)

The stewardess took a picture to document Connor's first flight. He wooed all of the stewardesses and passengers around us with his little smile.

Connor took care of first things first when we got there and tried on Josh's hat.

Here's a shot of the crew relaxing on Makay's birthday. But wait... who is that guy in the maroon and white shirt?

Let's take a closer look.

That's right -- Uncle Mikey flew down with us! But guess who else came down?

Uncle Brent came down too! Little did we know that we both had planned trips at the exact same time. It was a full house (and a lot of fun!) We flew down for Makay's birthday. Here she is modeling one of her birthday outfits.

Here are our cute little nieces and nephew.

Makay got a cash register for her birthday, and immediately opened her business selling candy to her brother and sisters.

Here's a personal message for Grandpa Rob from Makay.

Here is Connor cracking Madison and Mekenzie up!

Here's Mike having a great time and playing the drums on his stomach.

"I'm so glad when Daddy comes home!"

We took a trip over to the park where the kids constantly gave me heart attacks as they crawled all over the playground. Here we are sitting about 10 feet above the ground on a 4" thick rock-climbing wall.

The girls helped up take care of Connor. He thought they were great!

Josh helped out too -- Connor thought Josh was pretty darn cool!

Connor especially enjoyed Aunt Jenn (as you can see)!

Here is a pic of Connor over at the kids' school when we went over to have lunch with them. We had a really fun time with them, and their friends thought Connor was really cute!

The last night we were there, we took a trip over to Fort Worth and went to Sundance Square. It was tons of fun! Here is a video of Connor deciding he's old enough to drink out of a glass in the restaurant.

Here is a blurry pic of the fam in front of the opera house.

It was a great trip. But Connor was glad to get back to Utah and MaNae.

EASTER

Tiffany reminded me that I forgot to post the picture of Connor in his Easter outfit. Here it is:

(Notice Sherlene under the blanket behind him holding him up.) :) I've seen pictures on everybody's blogs of their cute kids doing Easter egg hunts. Connor must not be a very big fan of Easter. We hid a bunch of eggs and then set him down to go find them, and he just sat there, drooling. ;)

Speaking of that, he actually did show his first signs of mobility. The other night we put him to bed in the same position we always do, like this:

We checked on him a half-hour later, and this is what we found:

This could be trouble...

WOULD YOU SAY I HAVE A "PLETHORA" OF PICTURES?

Amanda and Ryan were up a couple weeks back, and Amanda took some more pictures of Connor with her camera that has me on the verge of coveting. ;) Amanda has a real talent for photography. She was nice enough to put all the pictures on a CD for us when she got home and mail it up. So here are a selection from those pics. I present to you... The Many Emotions of Connor.

Amanda also let me play with her camera again. (After I saw these pictures, Tiff had to remind me that we can't afford an SLR when I found a really good deal on one the other day and tried to justify buying it.) :) Here are two that I really liked:

SOLIDS!
(Kind of...)

The doc told us at our last appointment that we could start Connor on his path to solids, so we fed him today for the first time with a spoon. (It was basically the same thing that he eats in his bottle, but in a bowl instead.) He wasn't exactly sure what was going on at first, so the food just dumped out of his mouth onto the bib. But he caught on really quick. Here's a look:

YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO BELIEVE THIS...

Well, Tiffany and I have been keeping this a secret, but it's official now. A few weeks ago, she started getting really nauseated. We thought maybe it was the flu, but she didn't really have any other symptoms. We joked around that it would be funny if she was pregnant again, but then when things should have happened that didn't happen (if you know what I mean), we got a little nervous.

We went to the doc yesterday, and it is official.

The due date is 11/01/2009, which is 7 months from today. That means that Connor and the new baby will be less than a year apart! Tiffany wants to cry. But we are excited, because that means that we'll have a cousin that's the same age as Joel & Bethany's new baby.

This is all crazy, but we are excited. It will be fun to have Connor and his little brother/sister be so close in age. Here we go again!

P.S. April Fool's! ;)

BONUS

Here is a bonus Las Vegas trip pic. I forgot to post it with the others, but this is the kind of pic a Daddy absolutely loves. :)

VIVA LAS VEGAS

Tiffany and I took a trip down to Vegas over Spring Break to see Jake, Ryan & Amanda, Sean & Holley, and most importantly, Sinjin (who I had never seen in person.) It was a fun trip (despite my getting sick the morning after we got there and being sick for the whole time, and having to take 12 hours worth of midterms. )We had a really good time staying at Sean & Holley's.

Here is Connor and Sinjin meeting for the first time:

Sinjin is one cute little guy!

Holley decided to try putting Connor in her sling to see what he thought. How do you think he liked it?

Here is Sinjin, chilling with Sean in the "man-pack" as they got dinner ready. He loves it in there!

Sinjin got really excited every time he got within grabbing distance of Connor.

We didn't have our little baby tub, so Tiff had to improvise. Here he is, chillaxin' in the "tub".

Sinjin's favorite activity was trying to eat Connor with his two teeth, as demonstrated here:

I basically was in bed or in front of the computer the whole trip, but Sean, Holley, Tiff, and the boys went out for a walk. Here is Connor, enjoying his first walk ever. (You can tell how excited he is...)

We decided to have Connor (4 months) and Sinjin (9 months) stand so we could get an accurate size comparison. Here it is.

We also decided to take this pic to compare the noggins:

Sinjin Trying to Eat Connor

Connor LOVED Sinjin's bouncer.

LAUGHING #2

Here is a little better video of Connor laughing.

LET'S SETTLE THIS, ONCE AND FOR ALL...

Spencer Leonard Hilton - 4 months old

Connor Spencer Hilton - 3 1/2 months

Tiffany Clark - 3 months

Who does Connor look like? What's your vote?

LAUGHING

I wish we would have gotten a video of this a few minutes earlier when Connor was laughing a little more distinctly. It was cracking Tiffany and I up. I'm counting "1, 2, 3" and then blowing in his face. He thought it was pretty funny.

NANA READING TO CONNOR

RANDOM PICS

Here are some random pics from the last few days. First, Connor got to meet Uncle Ryan and Aunt Amanda for the first time:

Next, pics from the open house after Jaidyn's Baby Blessing:

(Unfortunately, Jaidyn was sleeping...)

Next, a visit to Grandma Clark (Nana's) house:

Amanda let me play with her super-nice SLR camera and equipment while we were there. Here are some pics that I took:

I'm sold! It was all I could do to stop myself from ordering an SLR that night. (Darn you, Dave Ramsey!) ;) Then Amanda (who knows what she's doing) took some photos:

Connor has also had increasing trouble with eczema. One suggestion to help was to make sure he got soaked good when we bathed him. He's a little too small and squirmy to try to bath him in deep water still, so that posed a problem. I walked into the bathroom this morning to see Tiff's solution:
