DISNEY CRUISE-----PART 1 (DAYS 1-3)

2 years ago we started talking about taking a cruise with the whole family. We booked it and waited and waited and waited for those 2 years. When it was actually time to leave it felt surreal, But the day had finally arrived!


DAY 1

We were dreading the plane rides. We had 2 there and 2 back. Thankfully the kids were excited so they were awesome the whole time.


I had never seen these baby seats in the bathroom stalls before. Totally awesome!



DAY 2

We flew in the night before the ship was set to sail and stayed at a hotel. Connor was so tired we had to wake him up about 5 times and then make him get ready.


Check-In! Connor wasn't sure what to expect, but he was really excited to get on a ship and see Mickey and Minnie.




After check-in we went straight to lunch at the "Enchanted Garden". Then went to explore the ship. We checked out the pools/slides that had a gigantic TV screen that had movies playing constantly. Then went to our rooms to drop off all our stuff and get our bags. Then went to dinner at the "Animator's Palate".


Someone's excited.....


Connor ordered the Mac n Cheese almost everynight and they always made a Mickey Mouse head out of Ketchup. He thought that was really cool!


After dinner we saw Pluto and Connor wanted a picture so we waited in line and when we got up there Connor wouldn't touch him. Cambree on the other hand loved his nose and whiskers. She kept trying to grab them.


After dinner we went to the broadway musical "The Golden Mickey's". Connor loved it! Spencer and I both really liked it as well.


We checked out the shops. Connor picked out some "Toy Story" toys.


When we got back to our room we had a towel animal waiting for us. The first day on the ship was so much fun, but we were extremely excited to go to bed!


DAY 3

Connor's cut was looking much worse than it really was since the liquid bandaid had held the blood in, so Spencer decided to take it off. (It was already peeling). Connor was brave and only whinned. It looks tons better! We then put a bandaid on it to help minimize the scaring in the sun.






After breakfast we saw all the characters lined up taking pictures so we got in line. We were able to see most of them all at once.












Santa Claus was even there.




Spencer and I went to Nassau with Rob and Brent while Connor and Cambree stayed back with everyone else to go swimming.


It was really nice of Uncle Mikey to play in the pool with them for so long.




Connor also LOVED Nemo's Reef.














Cambree fell asleep with Manae while Connor was swimming. We traded so they could go get some down time.


We got the kids cleaned up and then went to dinner at the "Enchanted Garden". Connor was showing us his "mad" face....

We then went back to our rooms where we were greeted by a towel monkey with Cambree's sunglasses. Connor always devoured the chocolates left on our bed.


While the boys stayed and watched the kids, the girls went and watched "The Help". It's a good movie, but be prepared to cry.
