DAY 4
At breakfast Connor always used the silverware to pound on the salt and pepper shakers. Apparently he thinks everything should be used as drums.
After breakfast we went to "Castaway Cay" (Disneys privately owned island).
Connor loved playing in the sand with his cousins.
Burying their legs.
Connor's new shovel.
Relaxing in the hammocks.
Connor and Cambree had their first trip to the beach and ocean.
Cambree really liked it until she ate some sand and Spencer took it out of her hands.
Connor loved it! Spencer took him out swimming in the ocean and he had a blast!
Trying to build a sand castle.
After we got back on the ship Connor played in "Nemo's Reef" while I went on the "AquaDuck". It was fun, but not worth more than a 10 minute wait. From deck 11 the people look like little ants.
I think Spencer was trying to get a good shot but Connor kept making it look like he was falling off.
We took the kids back to the room and got cleaned up and they fell right to sleep. They were completely wiped out!
After our nap we went to dinner at the "Royal Palace". Connor ordered the Mickey Mouse ice cream bar every night for dessert.
After dinner we finished getting into all our pirate gear for Pirate's Night.
We went up to deck 11 where there was dancing and we watched a quick pirate skit and then watched fireworks! It was a lot of fun.
DAY 5
Cambree was in "Jack-Jack's Diaper Dash". All the babies who were crawling had a race to see who was the quickest. Cambree almost won, but was distracted by her cute cousins cheering her on. She's pretty quick once she gets going. It was really cute!
We took Connor miniature golfing at "Goofy's Mini Golf". It was just a little windy. He LOVED it! We also watched "The Muppets". Connor liked it a lot.
We then went to dinner at the "Royal Palace". The waiter kept switching mine and Mark's food orders. So Mark decided to eat my dinner cause he thought the waiter could just bring one right out. So I had to wait for another meal to be made so Mark held Cambree while I ate dinner and they all had dessert. This was the first time I had creme brulee. It is awesome!
Soaking in our last night on the ship. Gorgeous blue ocean.
Mark from like 10 rooms away.
Connor playing with his new disney characters.
After dinner we arrived to find a bird with Connor's sunglasses.
The trip was a lot of fun, but completely exhausting. It's hard with 2 busy kids.
DAY 6
The journey home was a long one. We were trying to get off the boat by 9:30 and as always we were running late. We finally got out of our room and down to the lobby where Beth was trying to figure out why we never got our signature mats back. I had checked the night before and they said they were being delivered. But by morning we still hadn't received them. Apparently they got lost somewhere. Our guess is the room host put them in someone elses room. We have yet to see them, and my guess is we never will.
We got off the boat and to the airport. We boarded our first flight. It went pretty well, but on every flight the stewardess' were all pretty snotty! We had a lay over and had lunch. The second flight was AWFUL! We boarded the plane only to stay on it for an hour and a half before we took off.
I had 3 really good paragraphs about the rest of the trip, mostly telling you NEVER, NEVER to fly on Continental/United. But connor deleted them while I was typing with one touch of a key and I couldn't get it back. So, I am not feeling ambitious enough to re-type it all. But NEVER fly Continental/United!!!!!!!!!!!
